In 1970, John Harney embarked on a mission to share his love for tea with the world. Today, he and his family source tea from the most reputable and well-established tea gardens and estates in the world. From the tea garden to your teacup, the Harneys manage the process. Cupping great teas, blending them into unique and uncommon blends that are packaged in their state-of-the-art facility.

We stock a range of HARNEY & SONS teas which includes:

CELEBRATION – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with apricot flavour, apricot pieces, cinnamon spice flavour and hazelnut flavour (natural flavours). A warming and aromatic brew with fruit and nut flavours that’s ideal for the festive season. Medium strength.

DARJEELING – Traditional black tea. The Queen of Indian teas. Weak to medium strength.

DECAF HOT CINNAMON – Flavoured black tea. Decaf black tea with cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and flavours (natural and artificial). Medium strength. Decaffeinated (using the CO2 method).

DECAF VANILLA COMORO – Flavoured black tea. Decaf black tea and natural flavour. Medium strength. Decaffeinated (using the CO2 method).

EARL GREY IMPERIAL – Flavoured black tea. Black tea and bergamot oil. Medium strength. (The tea base is stronger and so the bergamot flavour is more subtle in this tea compared to Earl Grey Supreme).

EARL GREY SUPREME – Flavoured black tea. Blend of black tea, white tea (silver tips) and bergamot oil. Medium strength.

ENGLISH BREAKFAST CLASSIC – Traditional black tea. Keemun black tea from China (one of China’s most famous teas). Weak to Medium strength.

ENGLISH BREAKFAST HT – Traditional black tea. Blend of black teas from Ceylon and Africa. Strong.

HOLIDAY TEA – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with cloves, flower petals, three types of cinnamon, orange pieces, almond flavour, orange flavour and vanilla flavour (natural flavours). A spiced black tea to enjoy in the holidays or all year-round. Medium strength.

HOT APPLE SPICE – Flavoured black tea. Black tea and apple, orange peel, cinnamon and cloves. Contains natural flavours. Medium strength.

HOT CINNAMON – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with cinnamon, cloves, orange peel and flavours (natural and artificial). Medium strength.

MOTHER’S DAY – Herbal infusion. A beautiful and refreshing caffeine-free herbal blend created in honour of all mothers. It features chamomile flowers blended with rosebuds, cornflowers, and orange peel, infused with citrus flavour.

PARIS – Flavoured black tea. Black tea, oolong tea, bergamot oil and natural flavours (black currant, caramel and vanilla). Medium strength.

PEACHES & GINGER – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with peach pieces, ginger pieces and natural flavours (peach and ginger). Medium strength.

ROYAL ENGLISH BREAKFAST – Traditional black tea. Blend of black teas from Ceylon and Africa. Strong.

ROYAL PALACE – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with natural lemon and grapefruit flavours. Medium strength.

SOHO – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with natural and artificial chocolate, coconut and vanilla flavours, and amaranth petals. Medium strength.

TASTE OF BRITISH HISTORY – Flavoured black tea. Blend of black teas, green tea, oolong tea and natural bergamot flavour. To honour the re-opening of The British Art galleries at The Metropolitan Museum of Art, Harney created this custom blend. Each cup is a tribute to England’s initial fascination with tea, which would be the start of flavours and renditions to come. Medium strength.

TOWER OF LONDON – Flavoured black tea. Black tea with natural and dried stone fruit flavours, bergamot oil and honey flavour. Medium strength.

VALENTINE’S DAY – Flavoured black tea. Romantic blend of black teas, chocolate and rosebuds. Contains natural flavours. Medium strength.

VICTORIAN LONDON FOG – Flavoured black tea. Evokes the aroma of a London fog with hints of vanilla and lavender. Black tea, oolong tea, bergamot oil, lavender and vanilla flavour. Contains natural flavours. Medium strength.
