Herbal Infusions

For many years, herbal infusions (aka herbal tisanes) have been recommended for their beneficial health effects. Most herbal infusions contain no caffeine or tannin. Use 1 level or heaped teaspoon per cup. Infuse for 3 minutes. Approximately 30-80 cups (depending on the type of herb) can be brewed from 100 grams. Some are very light in weight (such as chamomile, lavender, lemongrass, peppermint and rose petals).
