Ordering is simple. Please contact us with your order by phone or fax (we have a toll-free number for people living outside Auckland), mail or email. Please include your contact details and delivery address. We do not charge any ordering or handling fees. When we receive your order, we'll inform you if anything is out of stock and, if so, when your order is likely to be shipped.

Payment

We accept cheques, Visa and MasterCard. Please contact us for our account details if you would like to pay using online banking facilities. For customers outside New Zealand, we accept credit card payment only.

Shipping and Postage

Mail order charges generally range from $3.00 - $7.00, depending on the order size, destination and delivery method (post or courier). Higher charges may apply for large orders or remote areas - we will advise you if this is the case. If your delivery address is a PO Box or in a rural area, actual parcel post costs will be applied. International orders are also charged actual postage costs.

We have provided some postal cost indications for book mail orders below:

• $3.00  for 1 - 2 small size paperbacks (NZ Post)
• $4.00  for 3 - 4 small size paperbacks (NZ Post)
• $4.00  for 1 - 2 small size paperbacks (NZ Post Tracked)
• $6.00  for 3 - 4 small size paperbacks (NZ Post Tracked)
• $7.00  for a larger order (NZ Post Tracked)

We have also provided some postal cost indications for tea mail orders below:

• $3.00  for 100 grams or 200 grams of black, green or fruit tea (NZ Post)
• $4.00  for 300 grams - 500 grams of black, green or fruit tea (NZ Post)
• $4.00  for 100 grams or 200 grams of black, green or fruit tea (NZ Post Tracked)
• $6.00  for 300 grams - 500 grams of black, green or fruit tea (NZ Post Tracked)
• $7.00  for a larger order (NZ Post Tracked)

Please contact us re postal cost indications for herbal teas and white teas (which may be more bulky).

We have provided some courier delivery cost indications for mail orders below (these exclude PO Box and RD addresses):

• $3.90  within Auckland
• $3.90 for a small parcel (1-2 paperbacks or 100-200 grams of tea) NZ-wide
• $6.00 for a shoebox size parcel NZ-wide

The shipping cost for Bulk buys, Large orders and Track & Trace orders will generally be in the range of $4.00 - $7.00 (up to a shoe box size). Please contact us if you have any specific shipping or postal rate queries.

For the book lover, please take advantage of our Book Card. For every $20 book purchase at Chapter, we'll give you a stamp. Once you've collected 10 stamps, we'll reward you with a $20 discount on your next purchase.

In lieu of the Book Card programme, mail order charges may be waived.
